Booking several people into one appointment
A lead can carry several people — a parent and two children, say. When you book from such a lead, the booking assistant asks Für wen? above the calendar and appointment type.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- The picker only appears when the lead has more than one person on it.
- By default all Teilnehmer are selected (the children, on a parent’s enquiry). Tick or untick people as needed; at least one must be selected.
- Booking creates one booking per selected person in the same slot, grouped as one shared appointment. The toast reads e.g. “2 Termine erfolgreich gebucht”.
- Capacity counts people. Two siblings take two places. If fewer places are left than people selected, the button offers to overbook (e.g. “2 Termine überbuchen”) and tells you how many don’t fit.
- On the lead, each booked person is badged Gebucht; on the calendar the booking shows the booked person’s name.
Online appointments are for one person
Section titled “Online appointments are for one person”An appointment type with an online meeting (Zoom) books exactly one person — the picker switches to a single choice: “Online-Termine finden mit einer Person statt.” A conferencing host also can’t run two online meetings at the same time, so an overlapping online slot can’t be booked or overbooked.
Automations run once per shared appointment
Section titled “Automations run once per shared appointment”The appointment automations — booked, starts, ends — run once for the shared appointment, not once per child. The parent gets one confirmation and one reminder. In those emails:

Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”Deleting a booking that belongs to a shared appointment asks:
- Nur diese Buchung — cancels one person. The others stay booked, and the appointment’s reminders keep running for them.
- Gesamten Termin löschen — cancels everyone in it. Pending reminders stop.
Versus appointment chains
Section titled “Versus appointment chains”A shared appointment is several people at one time. An appointment chain is one lead at several times. They are independent: chains still fire their automations per appointment.
